Rules that protect GridHunter users, infrastructure and other people.

1. Scope

This policy applies to the GridHunter website, User Portal, VPN service, official applications and associated infrastructure. It forms part of the Terms of Service. It applies equally to free beta users and anyone who voluntarily supports the project.

You may use GridHunter for lawful personal and professional activity within the access rules of your account. A VPN does not give permission to enter systems, use content or interfere with services without authorisation.

2. Prohibited activity

Do not use GridHunter to carry out, facilitate or knowingly support:

• attacks intended to overload, damage or disrupt systems, including denial-of-service attacks;
• unauthorised access, credential theft, account takeover or exploitation of systems without permission;
• the distribution or operation of malware, ransomware, botnets or malicious payloads;
• fraud, phishing, scams, deceptive impersonation or the use of stolen payment information;
• unsolicited bulk messaging or automated abuse of services;
• threats, stalking, targeted harassment or unlawful disclosure of another person's private information;
• child sexual exploitation or the creation, possession or distribution of child sexual abuse material;
• unlawful distribution of content or infringement of intellectual-property rights;
• other conduct prohibited by applicable law.

3. Protecting accounts and infrastructure

Do not steal, publish or misuse another user's credentials or subscription link. Do not bypass account suspensions, device limits, traffic limits or access controls, including by creating accounts to evade an enforced restriction.

Do not resell or redistribute GridHunter access without permission. Do not tamper with the service, its management interfaces or software distribution to compromise others, or deliberately consume resources in a way that disrupts service for other users.

4. Security research

Only test systems for which you have explicit authorisation. Using GridHunter does not provide that authorisation. Testing GridHunter infrastructure requires prior written permission unless a published security programme explicitly authorises the activity.

If you discover a possible vulnerability accidentally, avoid accessing further data, altering systems or interrupting service. Contact support with enough information to describe the issue safely. Do not include other users' private data or working access credentials in an ordinary email.

5. How we respond

We may investigate credible abuse reports or security events using information available to us. This policy does not create a promise to monitor every connection or inspect every user's activity. The Privacy Policy explains the information the service may process.

Depending on the circumstances, we may warn you, request corrective action, restrict a feature or connection, or suspend or terminate access. We may act immediately where necessary to contain an attack, protect others or meet a legal obligation.

We aim to use measures proportionate to the risk and evidence. An allegation alone does not establish that a violation occurred. Where practicable and lawful, we will explain the action and give you an opportunity to respond. We may withhold details that would expose personal data, undermine security or breach a legal restriction.

6. Reporting abuse and requesting review

Send abuse reports and requests for review to [email protected]. Include the relevant time and time zone, a description of what happened and any non-sensitive evidence. For an account restriction, include the account email or identifier and explain why you believe the restriction is incorrect.

Only share information you are entitled to provide. We may ask follow-up questions before taking action. We cannot promise to identify a user from information we do not hold. An account action does not remove any legal right to challenge the decision.

7. Updates and related rights

This policy may change as the service develops or new abuse patterns emerge. We will identify changes by an updated date and communicate material changes where required or reasonably appropriate.

Supporting GridHunter does not provide an exemption from these rules. Refund and payment questions are handled under the Refund & Payment Policy. Nothing in this policy removes mandatory rights under applicable law.
